None. Font Thief does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data. All data remains entirely on your device.

How It Works

Identifies fonts on any webpage by hovering over text elements. All processing happens entirely in your browser. No data is ever sent to our servers or any third party.

Data Storage

Settings and extension data are stored locally using Chrome's chrome.storage.local API. This data never leaves your device.

Permissions

• activeTabAllows the extension to interact with the current page when you activate it.
• scriptingAllows the extension to inject its overlay on the current page when activated.
• storageSaves your preferences and extension data locally on your device.
• clipboardWriteAllows the extension to write cleaned content to your clipboard.

Third-Party Services

Font Thief uses no third-party analytics, tracking, or advertising services.
